Empowering Students to Grow

Enraged2Engaged and Adapted Literature: Easier-to-Read books are evidence based solutions to two of the greatest challenges in secondary special education instruction: work that’s too hard or unaligned to the curriculum and SECD learning that is appropriate for and addresses the needs of adolescents.

•E2E is a full social skills curriculum for secondary students with EBD, ASD, or intellectual disabilities. E2E doesn’t just talk about it; the program offers more than 150 engaging, hands-on lesson plans to take your class from talking about social skills to actually mastering to use at home, at school, and in the community.

• Adapted Literature: Easier-to-Read books empowers and de-stigmatizes struggling readers–those with reading disabilities or who are ELL–by letting them read and understand the same texts as their peers, but at a readability level that meets them where they are and allows them to continue to grow as readers. The themes and content retain their sophistication; only the language is simplified.
